Laguna Beach

Just a little over an hour’s drive from downtown Los Angeles, Laguna Beach’s breathtaking natural beauty and seven-mile stretch of coastline fronting the Pacific Ocean are considered some of Orange County’s biggest highlights. This picturesque beach community has become a haven for many artists through the years, who find their inspiration in the area’s spectacular terrain and near-perfect weather.

Real Estate
A wide variety of premier real estate that will suit all types of homebuyers is available in Laguna Beach. Choices range from single-family residences to country cottages and classic Cape Cods, to townhouses and condominiums, as well as luxury mansions and sprawling European-style estates that provide magnificent views of the landscape or the Pacific Ocean. Should you prefer to build your own custom home, land and lots ideal for new construction can also be purchased.

Attractions
Most of Laguna Beach’s many events and festivals have been established by the area’s thriving art community. These include the Pageant of the Masters and its living recreations of famous works of art that’s held in the Summer; the Festival of Arts, which features original artwork by 140 of Laguna Beach’s finest artists; the Sawdust Art Festival, with over 200 local artists and craftspeople showcasing their works; and Art-A-Fair, regarded as one of the most prestigious art festivals in California, with exhibitions and workshops.

For those who prefer natural attractions, a visit to Crystal Cove State Park is recommended, with its 3.2 miles of beach and 2,400 acres of undeveloped woodland. The terrain is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, while the beach is popular with swimmers, surfers, and scuba divers.

Visitors can also explore a vast network of linked trails throughout the 20,000-acre South Coast Regional Wilderness at the James and Rosemary Nix Nature Center, the new headquarters of Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. The Nature Center features award-winning interpretive exhibits, educational programs, guided hikes and other activities.
